Analysis Overview

Start with business health, then drill into monthly and per-trip causes.

Monthly Performance

Review revenue, expenses, net income, margin, cost per mile, MPG, and month-over-month movement.

Trip Analysis

Each trip is judged as good, review, or renegotiate by comparing company history, route economics, and fuel behavior.

Analysis Framework

Use this page as a management review flow: month first, trip second, then route and fuel actions.

1) Was the load worth taking?

Compare profit per mile, gross revenue per mile, margin, and break-even cost. A trip is strong when it beats your own average and stays above the market cost benchmark.

2) Compare with Yl history

Each trip is compared against the saved company average. If revenue per mile or profit per mile is below your own baseline, the dashboard marks it for rate review.

3) Compare with market

Use public references as guardrails: DAT spot rate by equipment type for revenue, ATRI operating cost per mile for cost pressure, and EIA diesel prices for fuel sanity checks.

4) Route and fuel review

Route quality checks mileage mismatch, unusual detours, low MPG, expensive fuel states, and fuel stops above the trip's own average price per gallon.
